AJ Management is a consulting business specializing in public relations, marketing, and event planning for non-profit organizations and small businesses in Upstate New York. Based in Clifton Park, NY, AJ Management serves clients from the Capital Region to the Adirondacks of New York State. AJ Management is a NYS certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE).

About Us

Alicia Jacobs,  President/CEO of AJ Management is an Emmy Award Winning TV Producer and Special Events Guru.

Jacobs has a unique career -- from tv producer to event producer. Her 20 years of experience includes the fields of healthcare, higher education, renewable energy, entertainment, sports, hospitality, broadcast media, and special events for non-profit organizations.  She is a creative individual and skilled in bringing ideas and people together from concept to completion.

During her career, Jacobs was part of the launch team for a 24 hour news channel at Capital News 9 (YNN) and became an Emmy Award winning TV producer.

Jacobs career also included working with celebrities, the media, and sports athletes in marketing and community relations for the Knickerbocker Arena (now Times Union Center) and its sports teams, The Albany River Rats (hockey) and The Albany Firebirds (arena football). She enjoyed NCAA tournaments, learning the language of sports, and spending a day with NBC Sports filming US Figure Skating Champion Rudy Galindo.

Jacobs has also worked for three international charities, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and The National Kidney Foundation. Her work with non-profits continues today. She has a keen understanding of the business from staff, volunteer and leadership perspectives.

Outside of work, Jacobs is community-minded and passionate about making a difference in the life of others.  In 2004, she created Moolah for Men and Women, A Fashion Show with a Twist to benefit JDRF by raising money and awareness for the cause, while getting young professionals involved in the charity. She has served as Past President of the $2 million Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) of Northeastern New York Chapter and co-chair of the Annual JDRF Golf Classic. Currently, she is a Board member of Public Relations Society of America and JDRF. In addition to these organizations, she volunteers for the Shen Community Coalition,  Town of Clifton Park Open Space Committee, and Blondes vs. Brunettes' Flag Football Team to benefit Alzheimer's Foundation.

Jacobs is a graduate of the University at Albany; earned her Master of Arts, communication with concentration in public relations from Western New England University; and resides in Clifton Park, NY
