In 2021, AJ Management developed and branded three fundraising events called "Rock to Raise" for LLS. AJ Management was a campaign manager of a 10-week marketing, social media, public relations, and advertising campaign with three signature events. Two events were held online during COVID and one socially distanced event was held in person. The events included building partnerships with the community, businesses, volunteers, soliciting donor prospects, securing entertainment, and a major corporate gift.
The first “Rock with Us” Spring Fling was held virtually on April 15 with singer/songwriter Don Ferlazzo and featured band, Brown Liquor Social Club. The second virtual event, “Rock That Comedy” VIP party was held on April 29 with comedian, Adam Oliensis, featured on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. The third Hoffman Car Wash & Hoffman Jiffy Lube “Rock to Raise” for LLS socially distanced event was held on May 15 at the Albany Capital Center. The event included live music, game competitions, & prizes. The entertainment featured singer/songwriter Don Ferlazzo, Al Bruno, and the “good time rock ‘n pop” sounds of Joe’s Boys!
The 10-week campaign raised over $30,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. "Rock to Raise" for LLS included logistics management, building partnerships, advertising, public service announcements, and three signature entertainment events.
AJ Management served as the Saratoga County Fair Spokesperson and Publicist.
Deliverables included:
Extensive media coverage with over 40 stories, social media engagement the week of the Fair increased 1,409% with creative photojournalism, and record-breaking attendance for the first time in the 176-year Fair history.
AJ Management led a pro-bono public advocacy and media relations campaign for The Friends of Open Space to save 37 acres of land for public use in the Town of Clifton Park, NY.
Through public education of the facts on the land, the largest voting turnout occurred. The Friends of Open Space became an inspiration and proved a small group of dedicated people can make a difference to help change results of something they believe in.
The vast media coverage with grassroots effort helped to reverse a vote and save land for public use.
The success of the advocacy and media relations campaign also garnered a Community Impact Award.
